Trying

Thu Feb 12, 2009, 6:00 PM
Haven't been too successful with photography lately. It's been pretty rainy and gloomy for a bit, but that's normal this time of year. I haven't been able to get out and take random photos. Since my hubby is gone training out of state for awhile I think I'll try and get more artwork done with all the time I have in between job hunting, which isn't going so well either.

I would like to get more photography work done, maybe some painting too since I can do that during all the rainy days. I might start to work more in macro and/or still life photography. Basically set up a mini stage of things either found or made. I don't have any kind of art programs so what I post in the next few months is straight from my camera with no tweeks. Can't wait to get photoshop, ugh.

Some life and military updates. Not sure if I posted this last, but my hubby was finally promoted to E5 Sgt. It only took 3 months since he was supposed to be promoted, dealing with BS is so annoying. Hubby is currently doing major training but can't say where or how long. Last FRG meeting I went to we were told that a possible deployment is coming in the summer sometime. Not much going on with me, still job hunting and taking a look at some colleges around here. I have a bachelors degree in photography but I would like to go back for graphic design or business. I think this would help give me more career ops in the future.

For now I'll post some pics of Mt. Rainier and whatever else comes along, enjoy!
